We are a cultural association to promote au pair work and cultural-linguistic exchange among young people and families.
The association welcomes young people interested in au pair experience or tutoring hosting programmes in Italy, and Italian families who wish to host an au pair or to become a tutor family.
Through homestay accommodation and total immersion in another culture, it is possible to learn a new language and practice it in everyday life, in a friendly and supportive environment.

How can we help you to build your experience abroad?
Eli Cultural & Language Exchange
Assist you in organizing your experience abroad as au pair or tutoring programme in Italy by coordinating placements with carefully chosen and thoroughly vetted host families.
Provide you clear, step-by-step guidance on all bureaucratic requirements for your au pair /tutor experience, including necessary documents and legal procedures.
We support and guide you throughout your experience abroad, offering valuable tips and advices to make the most of it.
To facilitate the learning of Italian, we strive to find language courses that are affordable and accessible according to individual needs.
In addition, we can offer online courses to give you the basics of Italian language so you better manage your arrival in our country.

Au pair
An Au pair is a young foreigner who come to improve her/his linguistic and possibly professional knowledge
as well as her/his general culture by acquiring a better knowledge of the country where she/he is received.Au pair for the time of the experience lives in a local family, they shall receive board and lodging from the receiving family and,
where possible, shall occupy a separate room. In exchange au pair offer certain services: take care of the children and help with small housework for maximum 30 hours per week.

Tutoring programme
A tutor is a young foreigner with a good education, sometimes specific in teaching languages,that lives in a local family abroad. They shall receive board and lodging from the receiving family and,
where possible, shall occupy a separate room. In exchange they teach they own language to the children (or parents) for maximum 30 hours per week.
